Belgium has a habit of sending weird stuff because we usually don't stand a chance in that voting system anyway.
I can't remember what we sent last year other than that it was utter crap (and not in a good way).
Usually we take turns in picking songs. Last year, Flanders got to pick a song , this year, it's Wallonia's turn (and they usually select slightly better songs in all honesty).
Last year was a song in medieval folk style in a made up language.

As I said, I'm a confrontational sort of person but I know that it tends to give me a higher risk of clashing with people who hate confrontations and will do whatever they can to avoid that so I try to hold back but in some case, I can't. You don't have to reply to me, you didn't offend or insult me (and even if you did...no problem really...as long as I'm allowed to talk back ) We'll just let it rest, okay?

My Lord, that's a dreary little song - that's poor even by French standards of the last 10 years. Sebastien Tellier was cool last year - shame the live performance wasn't so good. The song was formidable.
I think it's pretty much the same always, lots of little dramas and storms in glasses of water. Prima Regina Assoluta JM absence makes all the other queenettes look bigger perhaps
Patricia Kaas is quite popular here too I think, she has given a concert in Tallinn.

Well, they're right I guess, because she is popular in Eastern Europe so she should get at least some votes from every country.

Yes but could they not have given her a better song? It's not good, I think and her performance is very understated. Is that they way she tends to perform?
