Man, Mahut got the short end of the stick here. Simon R1, Nalbandian likely R2, Tsonga QF, Isner/Monfils SF. Too bad, I was hoping he could do damage here. Maybe he can pull off some upsets.

I'm amused that it's the tournament that's useless (and not Gasquet himself) if he doesn't win.

Heh, I was sort of hoping for an Isner-Mahut rematch, but that seems unlikely.

The upper side of the draw is quite open. I think Llodra has good chances to reach SF. Ljubicic, Gasquet and Nieminen have similar chances to be the other semifinalist.

On the bottom half of the draw Monfils has big chances to be the 3rd semifinalist if he can keep the level he has shown the last months. Isner can be a threat to Gael aspirations if he can serve well.
The last quarter of the draw is probably the toughest one with some tight matches like the ones of Nalbandian with Granollers, Simon with Mahut and the winner of those matches with Tsonga.

Nice draw for a 250.

The french guy is playing at home, but realy Gil couldn't ask for a easier draw in an ATP tournament, so i'm happy, but not going to be easy though. And Gil not a good Hardcourt player, but he need this win badly, because after Montpellier he will play only in Valencia (qualies) till the end of the season. He needs to be in AO MD, IMO.

I know now it's easy to talk, but now we know that Nico will lose 1st round here. He's too tired from Orleans. Period. Hope i'm wrong, though. I like Nico.

BTW, i have to say. I HATE this 28 draw. Very bad for tennis. I mean, this top players are already to good to be in 250 tournaments, and their job gets even easier now that they don't even have to play 1st round...
