I just read at the portuguese news agency that Montpellier and Valencia will be the last two tournaments of Frederico Gil's seaon. It looks a strange decision, since I don't think he has done enough yet to secure a spot at the Aussie Open entry list... but I hope he has done his math, and this turns to be the correct decision. IMO, it would be disastrous to not even try to obtain the rest of the points needed elsewhere, rely only on this last two (very difficult) events, and miss the AO by a few points!

Yes. it's confirmed! Gil will play this 2 tournaments till the end of season. I'm glad that he come back to Europe, IMO! |

It seems Ramírez Hidalgo won't play here, as he'll be in Sao Paulo-2 this week.

he can play the qualies if he loses early in Sao Paulo, anyway, I hope he'll get a MD WC |
