Amanda, do you think Tomas asks for early starts in tournaments? In Toronto, Shanghai and Cincinnati I recall him being the only top 8 seed to play the day before everyone else, he'll also play on Wednesday this week, one day before Robin and Roger it seems.

 the French are too harsh to Richard. But then that FO incident would have made Murray mad if the FO organizers gave in to what richie requested.

Never thought of that, makes so much sense now and since Murray was No.4 back then I guess it was only fair. Of course if he played someone like Berdych he would of got the extra day off though, no?

I don't know but I think it would have more to do with them having to showcase the top 4 players in the big night matches or something.. Also maybe it just worked out that way with his part of the draw? Because wouldn't he really want to get an extra day of practice on the new surface if it was actually up to him? |
