It's beyond over for Marcos. It's over. He's done as a good player. He's over the hill. These three weeks were events where he should be great at, and having great results, and he's lost back to back weeks to a mediocre challenger player not even inside the top 400. These weeks were the time for him to start producing good results to have a real opportunity at making the top 100. He's done. 32 years old, he had a good ride, all good things come to an end.
Have you ever seen Alejo playing? Or are you saying he is mediocre by pure guess. He is a good player and I'm pretty sure he hasn't beat Marcos twice in a row for nothing.

Great win for Alejo, and as for Marcos he still has tennis to stay close to the top 100 and even break into it, he just needs to win some challenger and be effective in the others. That's how these guys break into top 100 generally and he still has tennis to do so, although it will be much more difficult than it was before.

Good for Hocevar to reach the quarters too, good match against Giovanni coming.

I've seen him play about 3 times. He's no top level player, he's a challenger journeyman clay courter. That is what he is, he's mediocre in that he's not someone who you ever would believe can or should beat a player on the level of Marcos. Daniel at a GOOD state would not lose to Gonzalez. Also, in a good state, Marcos dominates these types of challengers. But as we have seen pretty much the entire year, Marcos has been unhealthy and not playing well. I wonder about his motivation. These three weeks were his major opportunity to make the top 100 with weaker draws in areas where he generally does great, and he failed miserably. So, I'm not sure he has the game to make the top 100 anymore. He'll need to look at Sao Paulo and Medellin as opportunities, but I've lost faith, although not support.

He's 32 and the clay field is deeper than ever, so it's going to be an uphill battle.

Robert had all kinds of chances to win it, a bad loss given the situation.

Decoud predictably destroyed Gonzalez, which basically proves me right about Daniel.

Good victories for Feijao and Gio also. Souza can make the top 100 if he wins this event.

Another good week for Joao . He should be the favourite to win in the semifinal match against Dutra da Silva.

Giovanni seems to be in good form and playing in home soil is helping his confidence. Clay is not his favourite surface but is still going on . Good victory that one against Hocevar. He is the favourite to win that SF match against Sebas Decoud who is having another good week. Just hope to be wrong and to see a final match between Joao and Sebas .

As for your answer Ivan, Gio's entire game is based off his serve, he's a hard court player mostly, his groundstrokes are not great, especially the backhand, and he's a mediocre returner.
