I think he won't play if he hadn't confirmed here... He is busy or something, he has had problems with sending for last few weeks...

Still waiting for confirmation from the US Open so I can complete the entry lists.

However from my own calculations it looks like the MD entry list will be full with no need for a qualifying draw.

If that's so, singles entry will be closed and the tournament will start on Monday. There are still a couple of spots in the doubles draw if people who are entered in singles wish to pair up, deadline will be tomorrow noon CET for additional doubles commitments as LEs and I will include these in the doubles draw if I am allowed to.

this is not really of importance to me, but are you sure there is no need for qualies? People who are still at the US Open and have a MD spot here can play here if they lose on Sunday

Hotzenplotz is correct scoobs. There should be a 9 player qualy draw (Balloon, Marita and Boarder35m can't play since they're still in USO)

You definitely need qualies. I have looked at the US Open doubles differences and a lot of your players lost. I calculate that you have 32 players here, and as Hotzenplotz says, there may be more losing on Sunday.

It's a lot of extra work, but I don't think you have a choice.

How can this even work?

The next US Open round is a 2 day round which means waiting until Monday morning European time before the results of that round are in. Then I need to start qualifying on Tuesday because Monday's play in Genova will already be underway? Which means starting the tournament proper on Wednesday?

You do the qualifying round draw now, with the 9 players as orangehat said. The first QR takes place on Sunday, and the second on Sunday or Monday (your choice)
You will then know the Sunday results from USO ready for the main draw.
The tournament proper starts Monday if you choose the first option, or Tuesday if you choose the second.
