I recently caught an hilarious episode of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me futuring Jimmy Fallone. I just couldn't stop laughing. I've never watched his show and didn't realize how funny he actually is.
I go to bed every night listening to either Fresh Air or Talk Of The Nation from the previous day.

Wait. Wait. can be really funny in unexpected ways. I've been hearing that Congo River series in the mornings. Makes me not want to take a boat down it.   There was a great National Geographic Magazine story about a man who took an expedition across Africa and, of course, a lot of it was using the Congo and tributaries.

Sounds way too familiar to me although I've only been on the Congo River for a total of 20 minutes, just crossing from Kinshasa to Brazzaville around trip a lifetime ago. But the story had me grinning the whole time. |
