Re: David Nalbandian in W & S Financial Group Masters, Cincinnati, 14-22 August, 2010
In the first set, it was basically Ljubicic serving up a storm with David rarely having an opportunity to get the serve back in play, let alone a rally going. They traded breaks, but Nalby hit a new gear at 5-5 and has just gone into "steamroller" mode winning the last 6 games. David looked irritated about not getting back the serves in the first 10 games, but he finally picked up that Ljubicic was going for the corner every time with his service aces and service winners.
Now it is 7-5, 4-0!!!! This is looking very promising once again!
----------
7-5, 5-0

OMG!!!!
Nalby just reeled off the last 8 games in the match feeding Ljubicic a bagel.
7-5, 6-0

I'm happy for you, Fatima. I'm a little shocked Cincy would have the American Isner playing an afternoon match after a night match though. I'm not sure who this could favor. David doesn't like the heat very much, but that is a rapid turnaround for a big guy like John too. I guess the draw must be loaded with big matches tomorrow.

I guess "Legenda" got his 2nd service percentage points won up to 5% after all. I noticed it was at 0% deep into the first set.

What the hell, i was having my breakfast when watching this match and left home for work at 5-5 of the 1st set, it seems still pretty tight at that time. And when I finally arrived at my company, he already bageled Ljubo in the 2nd set??

I know what you mean!
Those two never played before, so I'm not sure how things will be but I have faith on David
