The H2H match-up with Ljubicic is a little bizarre and I'm not sure anything definitive can be drawn from it at this point. They haven't met for well over 3 years, but Ivan had the clear edge in their match-ups about 4-5 years ago:

As you know David had recently similar (negative) H2H situation with Wawrinka and Marcos Baghdatis...
But he could improve it last week
Hope he will beat Ivan also very easy.
Their match is planed for Tuesday 17.08.2010

I will re-upload the "Nalby, The Steam Roller" cartoon series once the episodes have been rewritten a little to coincide with reality. Hopefully, Nalby makes it easy for me this week to come up with some new Eps.
Strange fact: YouTube gives demographics on the views for one's vids coming from different countries with the darkest color meaning the most views. Argentina was the top rated viewing country for my silly vids and the demographic chart had Argentina in black (i.e. most views). Not surprisingly, Great Britain, Ireland and Australia also had quite a few views (dark grey color).

So, did you write that cartoon series, Tim? Can't wait to read the new version of it!
To be honest, I took "la aplanadora de Unquillo" from one of our newspapers (Página/12). They called him "la aplanadora..." after his match with Tommy Robredo last week.

Yea, I wrote that silly series, Sil. It just didn't make much sense after the Murray match. It will be easy to modify the vids, as all the dialogue, camera cuts, etc. are all saved as Projects. I am going to wait to see a few matches deep into Cincy or the U.S. Open if need be.
Then I can see how I can change the wording to make it fit what is really going on in the results portion, and also modify the vids so they reflects things in the most positive light for King David.
Q. I tried having characters say "King Dah-veed" instead of "King David", but it didn't seem as funny ( it took the computerized voices too long to say it in an English accent and therefore slowed the pace when they were ranting ). I had characters say "Nol-ay" instead of "Nole" too, but it was hard to tell they were talking about Novak, so most of the time I stuck with "Nole" ("Nol-ay" almost sounds like "Nalby" in a computerized English accent). Should I modify everything to be "King Dah-veed" or keep it at "King David" or mix it up a bit?

Ahhhhh! I was wondering why so many people in GM kept using "steamroller" as an a description for Nalby. I thought they were referencing my vids.

It is a real Catch-22, isn't it Fatima? You want to see David play and not have to stay up late, but you know he likes to play at night, and Cincy is one of the most hot, humid places during the afternoon in August.
Obviously, the worst would also be to give David a night match on Tuesday followed by an Noon match on Wednesday too. But at least he should be getting more decent weather for his comfort level in his first match. One match at a time they say. I am sorry the timing is so tough for you to cheer him on. You must have been miserable the week of the Legg Mason as it seemed like he played the night match every day there. In the Rogers Cup, I was cursing the schedulers for never giving him a cool night match as I know David doesn't particularly like the heat.
Also, Isner/Kubot are playing on the Centre Court at the same 7 pm start. If Isner wins, there is no way the Cincy Masters will make John play a day match in R2. Nalby will play him at 7 pm again, probably on Centre Court. If Kubot wins the match with Isner, any time is possible. When are they going to put a Masters event in South America to provide a little justice?

Well... you never know! Maybe the guys from the newspaper used "steamroller" just because they saw your vids

I noticed an English publication describing Nalby's comeback last week after he "steam rolled" Robredo and resorting to corny, outrageous similes; only they used them in an unflattering manner towards Nalby about his ranking while he was away. It seemed too bizarre for me to believe they hadn't seen the vids. The article stated that his ranking plunged while he was injured "like a stone tied to a sinking ship that has hit an iceberg" (or something like that; paraphrasing).
