Go Aussies! It would be good to see them back in the world group next year. Australia should win comfortably, but it could get interesting if Belgium can get one of the two singles tomorrow.

Hmmm, this could be another tough tie.

The only rubber that Australia is virtually guaranteed to win is the doubles, with or without Hewitt's help. Otherwise, much depends on how fit Hewitt really is. If he is okay, he should beat Darcis...also Rochus, but that one could actually be a real dog fight.

If Hewitt gets Australia off to the perfect start, Ball has a good opportunity to add to his credentials. He'll need to play some of his best tennis, though, to beat Rochus...Olly a solid favourite. Failing that, he has a better opportunity against Darcis.

I'll go with a 3-1 win for Australia (if Hewitt is fit he'll guide them through), but not sure about the dead rubber.

Doubles are going to be important, I think Belgium actually have a pretty good shot at taking it but the Aussies should be the favorite. It's more important that Belgium win the doubles because for sure you have to back Lleyton to win his singles match.

Let's go Australia!

Nah, I'll be surprised if Belgium win the doubles. Australia have a useful doubles specialist, and have two good options available for the 2nd player. It is tough to predict what they will do, though. Arguably, Hewitt needs to be rested for his reverse singles, but it is perhaps a little risky to trust the fresher Ball for doubles...his returning skills aren't in the same league as Hewitt's, although he does serve and volley quite well.

Australia really needs to lead the tie going into Sunday, because a fired-up Rochus could give a below-par Hewitt a very tough time in the reverse singles imo.

I agree Australia should win but Belgium's team isn't that bad and they can't be taken lightly. Also if Lleyton doesn't play, Ball and Luczak are a definite step down in level. Lleyton and Hanley should be too much, however. Personally I would play Lleyton in the doubles because he is the best player available. Also playing some doubles will hopefully take away some rust in his game.

I do agree Australia needs the doubles, but that's more because I don't know if they can win the fifth rubber. I don't see Lleyton losing to Rochus, if Hewitt isn't feeling great, Olli being the veteran he is will take advantage. It's still very much a 50-50 tie but I think Australia has better chances.

Oli-Lleyton will be the keygame in this tie. I think both guys will play doubles so they will both be a bit tired. Lleyton had a pretty difficult match today while Oli only had to raise his leven twice of three times in the match. I think Oli is fit enough to play doubles and Lleyton could need some rest.

Hewitt & Hanley hammered Bemelmans & Rochus 6/1 6/2 6/4 to give Australia a 2-1 lead going into Sunday. I don't see Belgium coming back from there...
