I was quite angry at the director and even Cilic,Paulo (or Mahut) should have got the WC,instead him.It's weird the director of this tourney doesn't "support" local player enough.Now he is in the MD.I hope he will play well here and Cilic will be eliminated soon.

Well, Santoro is the new President of the tournament Metz, and Boutter is the director, so both of them can be involved in the decisions on the wild cards. |

 According to Paulo's interview, after Metz, he will go to Beijing and Shanghai to play the qualis (he is already in the quali entry list of Beijing), and those are outdoor hardcourts. |

You can see the last 2nd paragraph of this article in the following link. The whole article is about Tsonga, but there is one sentence "Les organisateurs de l'Open de Moselle, Julien Boutter (directeur) et Fabrice Santoro (président), qui ont donné une conférence....."
