Well, he probably wouldn't get bagelled but it wouldn't have mattered.

Roddick would probably lose in 4 sets

Re: Would Roddick have done better against Federer?
And then people laugh and brush aside Roddick as some sort of threat to Roger, when Hewitt got served not one but 2 bagels. He would have put up more of a fight simply because he has a heck of a lot more weapons than Hewitt, but Roger was too good, yet again.

Re: Would Roddick have done better against Federer?
Roddick would have been a totally different match, probably four sets with at least one tiebreak. But still Roddick wouldn't have won it, Roddick played the best he could at Wimbledon and it still wasn't good enough. I think that was a real mental blow for Roddick and it really affected his summer results.

Re: Would Roddick have done better against Federer?
Let's think
- Roddick lost playing to Joachime Johanson
- Johanson got bagled by Hewitt in the Semi Finals
- Hewitt got baggled and Potatoed in the Finals against Federer. It wasn't even close.
- By transitivity Fedex baggles Roddick.

Dumbass, don't you know a thing called a 'match-up' issue?

If only it worked that way in tennis eh? Goenitz is right, you really aren't smart. "Transitivity" doesn't work in tennis.

Let's see. There are a couple of things wrong here: one, like everyone (and I agree) just said, the principle of "transitivity" would not work in this instance; and two, your logic is way off base. Try again, please. This time with a concrete example.
