Your arguments have no weight. I haven't read one word where you've actually stated why you feel Murray will win these slams... Besides Federer is no longer JesusFed.

As someone else said, just because you want it, doesn't mean it's gonna happen.

Nadal is 24 and even with crappy knees he has won 2 slams this year. Where was Murray then? Where was Del Po?

Andy is 23 now. It's very rare for a multiple slam winner not to have won his first slam at this age. There are players around that aren't Federer or Nadal but can still play better than him on grass imo.

Default Re: Murray and Del Potro: The Future of Tennis

This might be somewhat believeable if:

a) Nadal was actually declining right now, not currently enjoying his prime
b) Federer was actually finished at Slams, not defending one and reaching at least the QF at the others
c) Murray was invulnerable to anyone outside Fedal at Slams, not losing to Berdych, Cilic, Verdasco etc...
d) DelPo proved his one Slam win wasn't a one shot deal
e) DelPo actually picked up a tennis racquet again
f) Murray hadn't spent a couple of years playing at peak level already
g) Murray proved he was a potential Slam winner at all and didn't suffer convincing defeats every time he got far enough to pose a threat

other than that... good prediction.

What a bandwagon comment.

Whole thread is just full of knee-jerk reaction comments. Just let them play, none of you idiots can predict shit. Federer was apparently done in 2007, in 2008, in 2009, now in 2010. Nadal was apparently done many times as well. Clearly no one can predict anything.

oh really?
featherbrained?
you'll see, you'll all see that murray and del potro will get all the slams i've said they will.
murray will start with the us open, and continue into the australian open.
in a few years, maybe we can bump this thread up when i'm right?

THIS.

I didn't see any of you fortunetellers predicting Soderling's ascension a year ago when he was a 24 year old mental midget that hadn't fulfilled his potential and couldn't play anywhere other than indoors.

2009 Miami R64: Robert Kendrick d. Robin Soderling 6-4 6-2

Exactly. What happened to that comparatively easy short-term prediction?

This is getting pathetic. You know what I found? The old WWW wimbledon 2010 thread. It has an open poll...
http://www.menstennisforums.com/poll...ts&pollid=6850
Guess who was one of the 9 people who voted for Murray? That's right, ace. You. So stop lying, it only makes you look like more of a child.
