That used to be me, but those days are sadly gone.
I used to eat enormous amounts of food and never got any fatter. Pie everyday at lunch. Peanut butter on toast in the morning. Leverworst sandwiches on whole wheat bread made with molasses. Insane.

We had some horrible thunderstorm on Sunday but I think it was worse in Finland. It's all so scary though. They predict this weekend more thunderstorms. At least no heat over +30C.

Sociology.
Yes, I have a delicate skin too and I get easily sun burned.. I usually stay inside in summer if it's too hot outside, because I get all sweaty and ugh, I'm not handling the heat well.. Imagine working outside in weather like this, not fun.. And in the scorching heat. Around 20 degrees is fine, more than 25 is not preferable, and over 30 degrees is hell for me. We actually had some rain today, and it rained a lot for two hours, but then we got sun again. And I do NOT enjoy working outside in the sun I do agree that thunderstorms are better than the summer heat, usually clears the air too. And they are quite fun!

LOL, I'm the same. I'm kinda glad I live in Norway, because my body is not adapted to handle high summer temps. I would die if I lived in a country that gets temps like 40 + degrees. we had like -25 degrees almost every day last winter, and I'd rather have -25 degrees than +25 degrees. You can always use more clothes if it's cold, but it's harder to get away from the heat I think.

I never feel well or happy when I'm cold -- particularly when I'm cold inside my house. Last year was so cold. It was rarely above freezing an many times floated around 0 f and at night went down to minus -0 f. Usually in the winter daytime, it's around 40 f here. Almost always above freezing in the daytime, but this year it rarely got above freezing. So cold.
You there in Norway don't have your housed built to cope with high temps, so I'm sure it's uncomfortable. All the buildings here are cooled. I've worked outside in extreme temps, but even so, I'd rather have the heat than the cold. My ears and hands suffer in the cold. But in the heat, I feel my whole body expands and relaxes. As long as I drink water and dress appropriately, I'm fine in the heat.

Where are you from?
I do not like being out working if it's too hot. Thank god they forecasted rain tomorrow, too much rain actually, we got a percipitation watch for tomorrow. Expected around 50 mm, which is 2 inches I think. Anyways, I kinda HAVE to work inside, so yeah, fits me much better than the scorching sun!
Yeah, our houses are not well adapted to extreme heat, because we rarely get extreme heat. Most houses do not have A/C, just public buildings and malls etc have A/C. I went for long walks this last winter. It was sooo nice. I LOVED it. I think I've never spent so much time outside that I did then. Sure, it was VERY cold, but not if you dress correctly. I wore a lot of clothes and the sky was clear, I saw the stars, the snow lit up the dark evening. It was amazing. I really want a winter like that again! lol. Winters are also amazing just being inside, sitting by the fire place, reading a good book, drinking hot chocolate, looking out on the snow. I cannot wait for winter actually!

Hi mimi
LOL, yeah, that would be preferable. Seriously though, I'd rather have it too cold than too hot. My body adapts better to cold than hot weather, which is weird, but that's just the way it is..
How are you guys doing? Any exciting plans for the weekend?
I just finished my summer job today, yay! I also dyed my hair today, perfect color. I am so happy with how it turned out. I'm now a blonde again
I'm also going back to my studies after spending the summer at home. I'm leaving soon actually, and I'm looking foward to getting started again! I have no plans for the weekend though, just relaxing, getting stuff done before school starts. Which is fine enough. It's nice to just relax after a tough week at work!

Oh yeah, it's nice to just relax after a tough week. And Good luck with your studies!
I don't have any big plans either, clean the house, go shopping, do some reading, maybe go to the seaside but that depends.

Thanks!
I'm gonna enjoy Rafa's victory today though, that's for sure. Funny thing is I guessed Rafa to win in 3, and I was right. He struggles a lot every time he plays against Kohli.
That sounds nice But I think that's what the weekend is for, to relax. We need a few days rest after a long and tough week at work! At least that's how I feel. Many people go out to take their mind off from work, and I get that. However, I'm the complete opposite. I need to relax in the weekend, maybe doing a few errands, go shopping, watch a movie. I'm not much of a party person. Never have been, never will be :P

Re: Rafatards chat. NO Rafahaters allowed!
Busy weekend for me. I work for myself so there's work everyday. My sons are going back to school next week so we need to do last minute shopping. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I hate shopping.
I'm definitely looking forward to a quiet house during the week again though. Can't wait!

Oh I envy you, I could never work from home, toomany distractions.
What kind of business are you in if I may ask?
Hi Mimi! I'll go check the GM a bit then but there's no reason to take GM seriously.

Yeah. Me too. But, it's impossible to stop idiots from creating them and carrying them on. Jinxing of the worst sort.
