Re: Daniel Brandwagon rolls to Metz, Bangkok. Anticipation mounts.
Daniel plays Robredo in R1 of Metz. This is the type of match he should win, but obviously he won't do it. His top 100 spot is in jeopardy and really, I think it's doubtful he'll keep it through the remainder of the season. But because even though I don't like him and I'll be so happy when he has #101 or below next to his name, I'm trying not to be a sourpuss towards him and his fans, so good luck to him through the rest of the year.

Close. FYI, Brands lost 2 and 3.

Doesn't look like Daniel will make WTF this year.

Yeah, gave him a bit too much credit. What can I say. I believe strongly in his abilities.

Re: Daniel Brandwagon rolls to Bangkok. Support Daniel.
After failing once again to pass the first round in Metz, Daniel and the Brandwagon are in Thailand playing the Bangkok Open. He's playing Marchenko in R1, which means he's going to be boarding the plane to Mons, Belgium with another R1 loss.
He's got about a month to go before all those juicy points from the fall of last year fall off. Hang on to your hats boys and girls, this is going to be a rocky ride downward to the challenger tour.

Well not everyone can get the organic appreciation like the Gooch, Hernandez, Bogdanovic, Behrend or even Vicente in former times. But those 5 earned their stripes, this one is just one propaganda minister pimping up Brands.

I don't get this one. Is the joke about cheering for him based on the fact he is so lousy or is he supposed to be cute? I clicked on the links and he doesn't seem very cute.
It would make more sense to bandwagon someone like Evgeny Korolev if this is based on looks.

Re: Daniel Brandwagon rolls to Bangkok. Support Daniel.
I'm back on the Brandwagon, vamos Daniel.
Hard to believe this guy was potentially 2 points away from making the Wimbledon QF (Berdych wouldn't of come back from 2-1 sets down playing the way he was).

He's not a bad looking guy, but no, that's not what this thread is about. In fact, I don't know how this started, other than the poster serenidad has a crush on him, and wants to push a pro-Brands movement. I never understood the infatuation. But, if you do want to make fun of him because he sucks, or cheer him on as sort of the man going against the odds, then go right ahead.
