Didn't SEGA say they would finish the series if another company would fund it?

No clue. It's tough though because it's been nine years since Shenmue II, and many people who were interested in the third game have long ago forgotten about the series. So now I'm not sure if anyone could be convinced it would sell enough to be worth financing.

Yeah that's so true, and considering how much of a loss they made from the first 2 games they might as well just stay well away from finishing it off.

So sad after the ending of the second one as well, I remember when I had finished it I was so hyped for the 3rd game.

On another note there's a slight possibility there could be remakes of the 1st 2 on XBL/PSN.

I've longed and longed for a Shenmue III, still do

I don't know which was more frustrating – Shenmue II's or Sarah Connor Chronicles' ending, ahah.

Good game, not the best but I like Walter Sullivan a lot.

SoF2 is my favourite online game. Much much better than CoD or any other shooter game. With great modding community, community-made anti-cheat and the best gameplay where moves like leaning has strategical significance, you can throw knives and all kinds of stuff, there are 1st/3rd person modes and servers, and great mods like Hide&Seek and cops and robbers.
For downloads and info go to demobase.eu

This is a Screenshot of me after I've killed like 5 or 6 guys with AK bayonet in H&S Cagefight.

Try it if you're bored of mainstream games like CoD and want something hardcore.

I played Commander Keen this week.

Also been playing the original Prince of Persia again a bit, but with new mods and levels made by fans.

I love the civilization building games: Age of Empires, Age of Mythology, Empire Earth, Rise of Nations, etc

AOE II had a great multiplayer thing, the total battle where you had unlimited resources and fight till death with other people
