Ahh i see, still a good feature though, no need to start a new game everytime you want to change club.

...shit
I hear that.

For my own part, Battlefield 3, Diablo 3, and Skyrim is already WAY too much game in a short space of time. I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

Just completed Batman Arkham City, one of the best games I've ever played but I'm thankful I only rented it. Can't wait till Uncharted 3 is released now so I'll rent that too, reviews for that go up in an hour I think too.

It's the damndest thing, I'm actually a huge Batman fan, but never could get into the games that much. Heard that Asylum was excellent, but I don't tend to play that many 3rd-person action stealth games anymore, so I didn't really bother with it. Same goes for Arkham city, but I'm really glad to hear that Bats FINALLY has an excellent game to his name.

Well why not give it another go, surely can't hurt? Story itself is good enough to get Batman fans trapped in I say.

On another note IGN gave Uncharted 3 a 10/10.

Wow! Another reason to wish I had a PS3. When Batman AC falls in price, I almost surely will check it out, actually.

Meantime, going to be a great season anyway.

Good addition. I like to be immersed in the world of football and I have quit games before when the urge for a certain league I didn't add becomes too strong.

I am resisting buying FM 12 right now. I think I will get in during my Chirtsmas break from school. I still play FM 2010, I love my Shaktar game too much to quit it right now.

It's still very addictive. The good thing is that I play it in windowed mode, which allows me to do other stuff while I play and I can always have it open in the background.

Alot of big games released/ to be released over the last 10 weeks of the year, COD MW3, elder scrolls, batman, battlefield, FIFA, Uncharted 3, saints row 3, assassins creed and Zelda. What really pisses me off is that the companies ALL want to wait under Christmas so they can cash in on it, leaving us with fuck all great games for most of the year, we wait for something good then they all come along in the space of 12 weeks! I own all the consoles and L.A noire and gears of war 3 were the only games the WHOLE year I bought on release, there was'nt any other big must 9+/10 releases during the year. The game industry has become so stale, Every year its just buy COD and FIFA, play them to death online then great, pay for the new version of the same game but with minor changes. Most people i know do this every year for over 4/5 years now....

Does anyone here think that gaming, like most things in the world, has been touched by political correctness and started catering to people with no spine?

I remember playing old age classics like Diablo 1/2 and passing desecrated churches and impaled people burning on crosses. Or the Butcher's chamber filled with mutilated bodies?

Sure, the graphics were shit, but the atmosphere was amazing.

Looking at the new Diablo 3, it looks like an anime action game, rather than dark, gothic RPG. Body parts explode in hilarious and exaggerated fashion. Character attacks look like something inspired from DBZ.

When will developers get some guts and make games like they used to?
