Re: Entry List
i'm pulling for andy roddick to win this. i think federer's win streak will be snapped. if andy is 100% and plays his best, he will beat roger if they meet in the final. if these two players don't make i like coria, agassi, and henman's chances.

Re: Entry List
Good Luck David If David can't win this, I would love to see Marat or Carlos Moya getting this title.

Re: Entry List
There are two versions of official players list in Madrid Open 2004 site:
one is with Coria, next - without...
Will Coria play there?

Re: Entry List
Update to the entry list:
Madrid Main draw
OUT: Coria, Grosjean, Kuerten, Santoro, Moya (and Verkerk from ALT)
IN: Youzhny, Soderling, Melzer, Arazi, Malisse
NEXT: Costa, Haas, Labadze, Ginepri ...
I'm a little bit surprised about Moya. Is he injured? Schalken is apparently hoping to play here, Kiefer and Younes have not withdrawn yet.
Madrid Q
OUT: Malisse, Nadal, Soderling
IN: J.Nieminen, D.Sanchez, J-M.Gambill
NEXT: R.Stepanek, J.Benneteau, S.Koubek

He has a shoulder injury, since the davis cup semifinal
So is this official now? Cause I was still hoping he'd play after all...
*edit* Where did you find this information? I can't seem to find it anywhere

The ATP has just confirmed that Guillermo Coria, the Brazilian Gustavo Kuerten and the Frenchmen Fabrice Santoro and Sebastien Grosjean will be out of the tournament, as expected.
|
From: http://www.tennis-masters-madrid.com...cias/p5eng.htm
Carlos is still listed as 'playing' at the official tournament site... I'm confused now!

Re: Entry List
Oh do you think Tommy Haas will make it in? Roger has just pulled out aswell! Oh I really hope Tommy makes it, he deserves to be in the main draw, he would be a favourite for the title if he got in!!!
