I'm not counting Tomas out.. It should be a really close match. But if Tomas wins I think he will have less chances to beat Rafa than Sod will.. I do not think Nole will beat Rafa if he ends up winning today.

Erm... no.
Soderling would have straight-setted Nadal today.
Almagro would have been straight-setted by Federer.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.
The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

He's improving on hard and grass as well, so he could very well get some good point of those surfaces as well. Already a hard court SF and Aus Open 3rd round, though those were insanely lucky draws

Re: •°o*Ye Olde Castle vol.32
clay warrior still a little out of sync.
no big deal. all players have to get through these types of rough patches. it happens. its tennis.
the trick is to still not lose a set and just keep going. it gets the job done and it sends out a strong message. if you cant beat them when they are off then how the hell will you deal with them when they are in sync.

I think he broke Almagro's first service game, then Almagro broke back and it's been serve domination since then.

that is one of the problems he is having.
he is not returning as well as he did here in 2008. it could improve a little in the semis.
