extremely disappointed.
ranking simply not to be considered.
just leave them out of the draw.
just compare with real tennis.
if someone is not gonna make it in time then they are left out from the draw and the losers are given a lucky loser spot.
just my thoughts.
pls can someone explain.

OK, I will try to explain. I understand that you are new, and I understand that you are keen. I am trying to look after 3 tournaments at once at the moment, so I really don't have time, but I will do my best.
Once the draw is made it does not get changed.
Each match has 3 possible outcomes
1. A player has a bye
2. A player has a walkover because the opponent does not send picks
3. The match is played and someone wins and someone loses.
If you had been drawn against someone who did not send picks you would have received a walkover. However by the luck of the draw you were drawn against somebody who did send picks and you lost (narrowly)
You are complaining that you think you should go through to the next round because you picked well and somebody else did not pick at all, but went through. This is not a race where you come 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. It is simply a case of beating one opponent, and whether you win by picks, SRs. Shootout, CB or ranking it makes no difference.
Yes, higher ranked players have many advantages, and this is one example. You have to concentrate on getting your ranking up, just like me and everyone else.
As for the lucky loser situation, there are no lucky loser spots in the Final qualy round. In the first qualy round spaces would have been filled by Alts, but there weren't any. In the first round of the main draw spaces are filled by lucky losers from the final qualy round, and if there are still spaces, from the round before.
So you are 5th in the LL list, and one LL already has a MD place, so if 4 players in the MD do not send picks for Monday, and you do, you are definitely in. Even if less than 4 fail to send you still have a chance, depending on whether all the potential LLs send or not.
So don't give up yet, but please, please remember that the TT rules have been formulated over a period of years by some very clever people, and while they may not be perfect they are pretty good at what they are designed to do.
