Thanks for your input. I thought long and hard about this before putting the points in the thread. The rules actually say $100k or more is a 120 points and $75k +H or less is a 90 points challenger.
At present exchange rates EUR 85k = about $104k, so it would qualify for 120 points, but the dollar is rising steadily against the Euro because of the problems in Europe, and by the time the tournament starts EUR 85k may be worth less than $100k.
I have no idea at what point the conversion kicks in, so I preferred to err on the side of caution when preparing the thread. Obviously I would like there to be 120 points for the winner, to perhaps encourage more entries.
As you have raised the point, I will ask in the managers' thread.
