He is just playing with his chain.
Ernests was in terrible mood in the presser. Pretty rude. Probably he isn't a pussycat at all.
Very bad boy.
All this makes me worship Nadal's attitude. They ask him a million stupid questions and he is still friendly. Like Gulbis acted towards the latvian coach was weird too. I can understand that he is not happy with the tennis situation in Latvia, but it is a country with no history in this sport. Funny is, that he wants people to watch tennis, but he tells all the time, that he doesn't watch any sport. At least he was nice with the kids. All this makes me think, that Gulbis is still very immature.

I'm agree Ernie is still very immature, he looks and behave himself as a little boy...,but I adore this so much...

It doesn't look good at all. And it won't bring him into top rankings. If he wants to become a real champion, he has to control his emotions more. It is just silly for a 22 year old man to act like a child. That doesn't mean, that he has to become a cold tennis roboter. Just a more grown attitude twowards everyone. Normally he behaves well, but when things don't go like he wants he shows an attitude, nobody likes to see. To smash a racket sometimes is not a big deal, but to be rude against other people (journalists included) is not a good thing.

I don´t know how old are you, but this sentence makes me think you are not more than 16. To call a 22 year old male for a man is mostly allways an overstatement. I personally can´t think of anyone I have known at that age acting all mature and serious...boys will be boys and thank god for that
All in all I think people shold behave more like children even if it entails racket throwing

My fav Marat Safin at 22 was very childish - think AO 2002 final and blondtourage.
If you need more example, think Hewitt (Gosh, I'm old), he was a brat and now he's more mellow.
So I don't see any problem with Ernests here.

Jeez he is 22, give him a break. Some people just act more mature than the other at a certain age. Just let him be who he is The interviews issue is just one aspect he doesn't deal pretty well with yet, but that doesn't mean he is child. I am 22 aswell and I'm still trying to find my way in certain situations, why is that such a bad thing?
Anyway, pointless discussion in the wrong thread so I'll leave it at that.

Re: Ernests' Photos and Videos Part 2
i dont understand what the hell you want from him at the age of 22, he is still young, he's allowed to be immature. I'd be more concerned if he were 33 and still immature.

Re: Ernests' Photos and Videos Part 2
All I'll say is that young men tend to mature later anyway, and add that Hewitt,Safin,McEnroe all had shall I say interesting character even a little complex, but they succeeded in being great champions who people always had an opinion on and put bums on seats at a tennis event and their press conferences were never dull.
To me Ernests fits this kind of a character. Ernests is a young guy with emotions, who naturally lets his facial expressions and body gestures show how he feels,he won't always behave impeccably, who does every day of their life? 22 is still very young.
