Thanks for that info! Hopefully he'll do well there
How is Javi on clay btw? Just wondering.. he seems to be liking HC better, which is a surprise, since he's Spanish. lol.

Re: Javier Martí
Javi is in the final
He defeated Gomez-Herrera 6-1 7-5, and faces 6th seed Morgan Phillips in the final. Vamos Javi, take the title

Oh, that is great news. It's not surprising that he's also decent on clay, most Spanish players are.
I see.. Yeah, it's always better to drop a future and play a different one if the draw is tough. It's difficult to improve his ranking that way. And that should be his main goal, to improve his ranking in order to be seeded for tournaments in the future, and even in order to play more challengers. I think he should start to play some more challengers when he gets his ranking high enough. It's always good to play against higher ranked guys, even if he ends up losing.

YAY! That is great news. I am so happy for Javi. He'll probably reach his career high ranking if he wins in the final. Maybe even if he ends up losing. He should get a lot of points for just making the final I think. I think he's able to reach the Top 300.. He's ranked 410 now, if I'm not mistaken, so around 390-400 perhaps with a win here?

I had a feeling, but oh well.. At least he made the final! So that is really good! Should earn him a bunch of points. He will maybe even reach a career high in rankings.

Yes. Main draw is out, qualifier Lorenzo Giustino is Javi's R1 opponent.
