GGL beat Gulbis 7-6, 4-6, 6-3 in the QF's of Thai Open. He plays Nadal in the semis. GGL is also in the semis of the doubles. Nice job so far in Asia. Vamos chico.

He actually defeated Rafa in 3 Sets  GGL is playing the best tennis of his life, but sadly no one seems to care now

Yeah, he was shocked as well as everyone else! Well, I'm following him. Have wanted to see him move up the rankings for quite some time now. He's always mired in the 50-60 range. This result should help him out.

GGL beat Rajeev Ram 6-7 6-4 7-6 first round in Tokyo. Quite a tight match which should bolster his confidence. Onward and upward chico.

I saw GGL beat Nadal and Nieminen in Bangkok. He's definitely a great player with an awesome backhand, and totally clutch when he's down. Sad I didn't get his autograph, but oh well, he waved at me when I yelled "Guillermo!"
