My faves were probably Agassi and McEnore (loved the personalities of both of these guys) whereas the ones I liked the least were probably Sampras (never liked his game and he was kind of boring on and off the court) and Connors (who was an idiot, imo).
I guess I should also name Todd Martin. His oldie looks when he was finishing his career always got me for some reason and he was a good guy overall. Chang deserves a mention as well for his dedication on the court and the fact that he always liked to honour his roots (something I respect).
Andy Roddick is a bit of a weird case for me. I used to hate him back in the old days but now I'm slightly neutral towards him and I don't know why.
Actually I like almost every american player, don't know why.
Favourite retired: Agassi, Sampras, Martin
Least favourite retired: can't actually call, cause I started following tennis only in 2001/2002
Favourite active: Fish, Blake, Dent, Haas , Spadea, Roddick, Bryan bros.,Isner, Ginepri in this priority
I don't hate any one but least favourite active players are: Young, Ram, Querrey (not really fond of his game)
I liked Jim Courier(was always a favorite) the most, also Andre Agassi, John McEnroe and I do support Andy Roddick, as well as Jan-Michael Gambill(when he was playing). I was never a fan of Michael Chang and now a days I find myself rooting against Sam Querrey.
I like Agassi, but I'm focusing on current players.
Fave: Personality-wise, I don't particularly like any American player, but if I had to choose I'd go with Isner. Seems like a nice guy. Game-wise, I'd say Fish but I don't care for him other than that.
Least fave: Pretty much all of them, Roddick, Blake and BryBros especially.
Plus I really like Jim Courier for saving Australian Open viewers from (often awful) Australian commentators. Michael Chang also had a fascinating career and I was impressed with youngster Ryan Harrison when I saw him at the Australian Open this year.
I don't like Agassi and I'm annoyed at Todd Martin for saving a match point versus Carlos Moya in the US Open 4th round in 2000 (but otherwise he's an excellent guy).
