Re: Mlb 2010
French should be called Lucky Luke so far today. Oakland had 2 doubles, 1 single, 2 walks and 2 deep fly outs in the first 2 innings and he only gave up 1 run. And now Rosales is out with an injury for Oakland.

Re: Mlb 2010
White Sox -1 @1.84
Huge series in the AL Central. White Sox had a 1 game lead at the start of the week but the Twins pounded them yesterday. Tomorrow it's Floyd vs. Liriano, pretty much a 50/50 game so they should really win today. Getting swept by your biggest rival at home would be really bad. Twins manager Gadenhire wanted to go with Liriano and Pavano in the last two games btw but both of those guys requested the plus rest day. So who will pitch for Minnesota? Let me introduce you Glen Perkins. He had a 5.89 ERA in 18 games last year in the major league. This season he spent the entire year in triple A. Here comes the best part: the guy has a 6.08 ERA with a 1.57 WHIP. That sucks. I mean those numbers would be really bad even in the mlb but in triple A? Gosh.
They White Sox has John Danks, one of the best in the business. If he keeps the Twins lefties off the bases (leadoff Span and sluggers Mauer and Kubel) the White Sox should be able to win it. Thornton, Putz and Santos are rested and ready to go in the bullpen. (Let's hope for an easy victory so we can avoid Bobby Jenks...)

Re: Mlb 2010
Giants -1 @1.87
Barry Zito is pitching very well. In his last 5 starts he gave up a combined 8 runs, all of them on home runs. San Francisco is in the middle of the playoff race, 2.5 back San Diego and 0.5 ahead Cincy for the wild card. They have to beat the bad teams like the Cubs at home. Derek Lee, Aramis Ramirez and catcher Soto are all out for the Cubbies. They have one of the worst bullpens in the league and Sean Marshall is not avaliable tonight, their only good reliever beside the closer Marmol. Giants have the bullpen ready to roll, only Casilla is out.

Stupid Bruce Bochy. He should have pulled Zito from the game long before this...

Re: Mlb 2010
Brewers -1 @1.962
Randy Wolf is pitching well, if you don't count his horrible outing in Pittsburgh he would be great in the last months. Brewers lost 3 in a row to the Dbacks at home, i don't think they want to get swept. Braun is back for Milwaukee.

(Boy this Brewers bullpen is horrible or what? Braddock and Axford both walked the bases loaded. Fortunately the Dbacks didn't jump on them...)
