Re: 2010 Clay Season
Awesome! Good to see Jim finally got a win over Monaco after last year's two tough encounters. Surely this will give him more confidence for RG.

Playing Hewitt right now on Chatrier. His first time playing on it right?

Re: 2010 Clay Season
I started watching at the very end of the 1st set, so I'm yet to see him win a game.
Was he good until 5-5, Chiaki?

You didn't miss much, he lost the first set with two double faults, if I'm not mistaken.
I'm still waiting for him to win a game.
Back from 15-40 to 40-40, this time maybe...
He finally holds, after having saved at least 4-5 BP again.

Re: 2010 Clay Season
I'm glad you got to see him at least held once. Broken again, he's spraying errors left right and center. Well, gf not looking too stressed though.
I don't know why I thought he has good chance in this match before it started, maybe I thought Hewitt's been shaky lately and was sick last week, I forgot Jeremy isn't Mr. In-form either.

Re: 2010 Clay Season
Poor Jeremy, he looks all out of sorts today. I still have hope he could turn it around. Let's not forget the Nalby match a few years back

He was holing very easily, got a lot of 1st serves and hit a lot of winners. He got to deuce at *3-2 and thought he might break. But if I had to choose one that I would have picked to win until 5-5, Jeremy looked more likely. I missed it after 5-5, but I imagine it was a case of him doing badly. The commentators said he hit 2 DFs in the game at *5-5 and played terrible in Hewitts service game.

Re: 2010 Clay Season
Finally some good tennis!
Lleyton is tough to beat in best of 5, but I guess Jim would be fitter, if he can take him to a 5th set.
Great rebreak.

Re: 2010 Clay Season
Thats a big pity. If he had held that game after breaking then the match would have been suspended, there would have been no time for Hewitt to finish.

Re: 2010 Clay Season
Pretty disappointing after the Monaco win. It keeps hard to put him on any form and he struggles being consistent...

Re: 2010 Clay Season
That was a pretty lifeless performance from Jeremy He started leaking errors from 5-5 in the first set and it went steadily downhill from then on, except from a slight revival in the third set.
