Arnaud must really love the ballkids in Nice as he's currently very rude to them d He plays badly and it's not an nice arno on the court. Bad mood bad game at the moment.

36/46 and a match to forget again The first set was really bad, a little bit better in the second but also because Greul was making more errors. It was tough to see two good shots and two good games in a row and while Greul was a bit choking at the end Arno broke back two times to lost just after his services games each time in a very bad way. What he showed in Estoril and Bordeaux was far better. I don't know if it's because RG is soon but he's really nervous He can go back in Paris to train ad wait for the draw and try to find a better mood

What he was saying before the match, it's not his best surface he needs matches before RG and he come sin Nice because he knows teh director and loves play in france cos the feeling with the public is important He said that he's a solid player and that would be a test.
Quote:

the feeling... LOL he does't notice he's just horrible with the crowd sometimes. After his worse marches he's still able to say the crowd supported him. He's a special way to show he loves playing in France.

I'm sure he loves australia as he loves france but his frustration on court makes him behave like a In the local newpapers he said that he had some problems with his backhand and his serve while it was quite good past weeks. He says that it's not his best surface so he's irregular but he was expecting more and he's deceived. It remains one week to work for RG.
I totally agree with that he was good on serve last week i was impressed by his stats but yesterday his was poor on serve and lost it 6 times, the same for the backhand who was making winners past weeks and nothing yesterday.

Quote:

Does anyone know where I can find a schedule for the children of roland garros day? I'm in Paris Saturday and would like to go if Arnaud is playing an exho.

There is no schedule for benny berthet, unfortunatly we can't see in advance who play. Arnaud plays almost every year, it depends. Anyway , even if Arnaud does't play, go there if you have the possibility, you see lots of players at training etc...

Thanks. I think I will just go then when it starts and ask for info there. Then we can decide for how long we want to stay. We only have 1 day, so we don't want to spend it only at the tennis. I already arranged a meeting with one of my French friends, so I couldn't go the whole day even if I wanted. We'll see enough tennis the weeks after during the grass season.
Oh and the name changed from benny berthet to the children of rg.

I know but I don't like the changes, I'm a girl from the past
I can understand you don't want to spend ur whole day in RG if you stay only 48 hours in paris (it's too short !!! lol)
I would have liked to go to RG this WE, it's not possible, I hope to go on wednesday, not sure at all

Too bad you can't go! Otherwise we could meet.
Yes, 48 hours is too short, we didn't think of the fact that we have Monday off too, but it was too expensive to change the bus ticket. Other tournaments are a few weeks after, so we also need money for that.

As his best friend annonces his retirement at the end of the year Arno continues to hit hard the ball. He's training in RG today.

it's sad to hear seb's retiring. i did get to see him this year in melbourne, so that's kind of a farewell... but if i were a big fan, i'd rather the player gave one year's notice lol so i could farewell him properly! though i guess it's not a choice when he's injured.

in arno's case, i hope he'll give notice so that i'll to him one last time. no, just kidding

In RG he draws Dolgopolov Jr who is one of the revelation of the year especially on clay. He has some talented in his hand hitting winners in every positions, tough to explain his way of play when even Nadal doesn't understand his game last week in Madrid On clay he's far better than arno no doubt about that but it's a GS, 3 sets to win and he's not very consistent yet. Anyway it will be tough for Arno but good luck to him

I don't know this player, I've never heard about him before (I've not followed tennis for 2/3 weeks). Well...I just HOPE arnaud will be in a good mood. I remember 2 years ago, I was at his match against Gael, it was awful to see. I was sad.

I don't when he's scheduled, I hope to see him on wednesday.

Allezzzzz Arnaud !!!! Have fun on the court, you're in paris, c'est la fête !!!
