Why wait for in-play when you know his odds will be considerably lower? Second stage of the Vuelta - no way would a break take this. If it were in the second week, perhaps yes but not at the start of the tour when everyone is fresh. Sprinters are fresh. They are here for a reason. No way in hell would they pass up on this opportunity at the start of the GT. They are here to win races, not to have crap legs and not be competitive.
