Don't know much about him, but I saw him once in January and liked him too. He was walking around in basketball clothes before his match the whole time.

It was the Germany F1 doubles final and I don't have pics of that game.

The is no real info about him on those German websites, the profile on itftennis.com/mens is still the best I would say. Just saw that he defeated Roddick in his Juniors career.

He is focusing more on doubles now. Earlier this year I read that he wants to make the top 100 this year.

He won Fürth (w/Peya) in June and today he won the big challenger in Lugano (w/Junaid).

He is in another big challenger final with Junaid in Scheveningen, so the top 100 are getting closer.

Tomorrow the final vs Middelkoop/van Gemerden will be on live stream.

He also made the ATP main draw in Amersfoort with Colangelo next week.

Marx/Kohlmann are in the final of Belgrade (125'000$+H) and will play against Qureshi/Zovko on Saturday. Next Monday he will finally be in the top 100. They said they will continue playing together for at least two more tournaments (I guess Besancon and Bergamo).

In my opinion Marx has easily top 50 potential. His serve is among the best right now and he is strong at the net.

Kohlmann/Marx have now started to play on clay and already reached the final in Rabat today. It hasn't been a perfect year so far, but the big title in Belgrade, the semi in Heilbronn and now Rabat make it a solid year I guess. He might be top 90 next week.

Marx: Ich habe versucht, alles professioneller anzugehen.

----------------------------------------------------

Tonight at 1am they will play on MCA against Junaid/Luczak in the second round. That's a good chance to achieve his biggest success on tour. He is German number 4 at the moment and I hope he can get a bit closer to Kas in the ranking this year.

Nice win over Junaid/Luczak. Now they already have 180 points and nothing to lose in the third round against Nestor/Zimonjic. Last year Marx/Zelenay got a 20-6 record in challengers, maybe they can establish themselves on ATP level now.
