I scoreboard watched the match, a very boring thing to do I must say. So I did play by play to make it interesting:

Gael served first, got broken. 0-1. Gilles opened his serve game with a DF, but he held on without much trouble, 1-2. Montanes DF at bp to give the game back, 2-2. Gael serves again, he's down 2 bps, saved 2nd bp with an Ace, rallied back to hold serve, 3-2. David held, 3-3. Gilles serves, down 0-30 with his 2nd DF, down 2 bps, saved 1 bp but got broken anyway, 3-4. Montanes held, 3-5. Gael held to stay in the set, 4-5. David held again, so far he’s the only one that hasn’t been broken. Ferrer/Montanes took set 1 6-4 in 32 mins.

Gilles held serve to start set 2, an Ace to finish that game, 1-0. Montanes also held at 15, 1-1. Gael served, broken at 15, down 1-2 for the Frenchies. David held firm his serve again, Frenchies down 1-3. Gilles serves, broken at love. Frenchies down 1-4. Montanes held, Frenchies down 1-5. Gael serving to stay in match, serve his first DF but Ace a 2nd serve to hold, still down 2-5. David, who hasn’t been broken yet in the entire match, serves for the match. He held.

Spaniards beat Frenchies 6-4, 6-2 in just under an hour.

Well, that was quick. Hope they at least have a fun time on court.

Gilles' single match is scheduled on Stadium 3, first match tomorrow, start time 11am. Good luck Gillou.

Gaël said on his twitter that it was very windy. He sounded disappointed about their performance. Ah well, I don't think they ever took it as anything over than a bit of fun between buddies, but they're so competitive that it was obviously disappointing.

I saw the offer from the atp about tennis tv channel on the atp website and i was planning to enjoy to see gillou playing on a decent screen and i am starting to get pissed off, is someone else tried to subscribe to this website? It is impossible to pay, i tried with different cards and failed each time

It is easier to get streaming so almost being illegal

than subscribe to the official channel

Hope i can have access before tonight and can enjoy gillou playing... It is good he is playing first, i do not need to get up in the middle of the night

Well, that's what I like about (three of the) musketeers. They don't go by the french saying "the important thing is to participate" ... which is a sucky saying for top sportsmen.

I think it's good for them to feel it's never enough. They should always be willing to win, like Federer, the Williamses and so on.. Even for training matches !! it has to be their way !!

I was with them last year. It didn't work a lot of the time so I don't pay any more bet365 is a good and legal stream.

I was last year watching on betfair, is the streaming from bet365 is better? i am getting older and need a bigger screen to watch the matches
