He had so many opportunities in that 1st set But I fear it's too late now - Llodra about to serve for the match

Re: Marcoseille Dubaghdatis
He's out. That's a surprise loss by someone who wants to get back to the top 10
I have no idea how he managed to lose when he started the match so well.

He managed it with hitting sth. like 20% 1st serve in that first set.

Re: Marcoseille Dubaghdatis
Llodra is always dangerous on fast hardcourts when his serve is working........ and he always plays well at home, so I don't think the loss is so surprising.
Anyway - it's Dubai next week.

Re: Marcoseille Dubaghdatis
Marcos
Now that's 2 real losses for the year. I'm not counting Hewitt (he was injured) and Davydenko (Marcos did as good as he could)

IKR!
If he wants to get back to the top 10, he needs to get a lot of ranking points so he really can't afford to lose in the second round of Marseille against Llodra, even if it is in his home country
On to Dubai!

Re: Marcoseille Dubaghdatis
Marcos is second on court tomorrow http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2010/495/op.pdf
Totally sh*t time for me as I'll be at work and no livestreams allowed But the tournament is televised here, so will set the VCR and watch it later.
Good luck Marcos.

Re: Marcoseille Dubaghdatis
Llodra went on to win the tourney. What looked like a good draw turned out as a really bad one.

He was the most in form player of the tournament and yet Baggy had to commit suicide to lose the match against him.
