Good call on the Watney choke so far.
Kaymer has started very well today! Finally a succesor for Bernard Langer?

Re: Golf 2010 - Waiting for Augusta
Watney triple boheys and drops to -8, three strokes behind Kaymer.
I'm hoping McIlroy can win this!

Heartbreaking stuff for Dustin Johnson, I suppose it is just as well he didn't make that putt for what he thought would have won him the title.

Damn Dustin. What a crazy moment. Thank the lord he missed that putt at the end. I never thought he'd do it anyway. Not after US Open

Re: Golf 2010 - Waiting for Augusta
Congrats to Kaymer, a fantastic player in the majors, good for German golf.
Johnson, though he is not a player I like but I do enjoy watching him play. Great rhythm and immense power.
A tough situation for him, there were so many people where he hit his drive. It would have never crossed his or my mind that he was in a "hazard". But under the rule they were playing this week, it is a "hazard".
Imagine if holed that putt to win! F**k that would have been something!

2 majors thrown away from him this year.
Wonder what will happen next year? Squirrel run onto the green and take his ball maybe.

Re: Golf 2010 - Waiting for Augusta
Terrible luck for DJ. Really gutted for him. Sometimes I wish some common sense would come into play and they wouldn't stick to the rules like glue. Early in his round he looked like he was gonna have another final round shocker, he did unbelievably to come back and almost take the title.
Another great week for Rory. I hope all these close calls are a good learning experience rather than a sign of things to come, I remember how many times Sergio was close to winning a major and never took that final step.
Congrats to Kaymer, unbelievably solid player. Typically German when he's in the zone he looks like he won't miss a putt.

This will be going right down to the wire. Europe can't afford any more slip-ups. Jimenez, E.Molinari and McDowell have to pull through.

Re: Golf 2010 - Waiting for Augusta
Lee proving he deserves the No. 1 mantle this week though.
1 behind Molinari after R3.

Re: Golf 2010 - Waiting for Augusta
Charlotte tournament had a playoff between Jonathan Bird and Lucas Glover. Both former Clemson golfers.
