TT COMMENTARY - DAY1

Rain is the winner in a day of low quality TT in the courts of Buenos Aires. In the first quarter the top seed Duncan gets finally a singles win beating the unranked Machine-Man, from New Zealand, who should be happy anyway for getting to an ATP main draw for the 1st time in his career. The African will face the La Plata boy GustavoM_Fan, who got past a dazed quiron and will want to go far in his home tournament (rumors that he could get half-retired after this). No problem for sdtoot against the Chilean mainman who had a very poor performance.
In 2nd quarter Tennis-Engineer has still to wait the continuation of his match. His opponent would be Harry_Callahan who beat in an average match Rik. Viceversa Mincheff continues his great streak winning the best match of the round: the Bulgarian, who is Special Exempt for second week in a row, played a very solid match and defeated qualifier mechi, who deserves credit for putting up a good fight. Mincheff now waits for the continuation of the match which sees the 'quality TT monster' ExcaliburII struggling in the Argentinian derby against Genius1787. The Monaco DC player knows that it would be big failure to leave the tournament in such an early stage, but he needs a big performance tomorrow to avoid that.
In the bottom half confortable wins for 2nd and 3rd seeds dieg36arg and manu86, but two Chileans played a really good TT: juakos17 and stbanchile that left no escape to Zirconek and ChinoRios4Ever. Juakos will now play a very interesting match against the former Argentinian DC captain FiBeR, who won a very tight battle against Croat Machiavelli. Then kai. got important victory against Brazilian Ilovetheblues_86, who really can't find a decent form.
In a poor quality TT day, the strongest players are advancing: top3 seeds have already won their 1st rounds and only 6th seed has already lost. 3/4 qualifiers have already left the tournament.
