Good one Roger. Nice fight from Victor at 0-4 in the 3rd he really didn't want to be bagel.

Yeah, there was a distinct smell of bagels in the air and Federer seemed hungry for one, but Hanescu did well to avoid it.

Re: Federer def Hanescu 6-2, 6-3, 6-2
Well that was at least a lot more convincing performance than his 1st round match.
(which, of course, had a lot to do with the quality of the opponent.)
Nice demonstration Feds.
Btw, may the next interviewer - whether it's Courier, the Prince of Wales or whoever - who dares mentioning the obnoxious 'd'-word in Federer-interviews, be *shot*. It's getting more-than-embarrassing by now. And NO, I am NOT interested.
(sorry about that, folks.)

Re: Federer def Hanescu 6-2, 6-3, 6-2
Diapergate has been set up. Federer is changing diapers 24 times a day so he has his excuse armed.
Federer is clearly a very arrogant man (for changing diapers).
***
ANYWAAAYYYY... Sharp match from Federer, he hit like more than 50 winners and around about 17 errors. He seemed confident in his shots and it isn't as if Hanescu played badly. The inside in and inside out forehand was firing very nicely.
Not only that, but his movement was a lot sharper, and he seemed very eager to chase down balls and made a lot of very good defensive plays. There was a *sick* point in the first set; i'm sure it will be youtubed soon.
Good stuff then...
