Can Üner declared that he is no longer coaching Marsel İlhan.
This is quite shocking news, he was talking about Dubai preparations a few days ago.

i am not sure. he was coach of davis cup team and pemra ozgen before. (turkey #2 in the women's) he was better player than uner when they were playing but on the coaching side, uner had a lot of experience with marsel while erhan oral was just working in turkey. i don't know how it will go but hopefully everything goes on well for him.

Best of luck to Erhan Oral and Marsel and also Can Üner for his future career. Change is good, new coach, new approach... It could be for the best. 5 years is a long time for any coach-player partnership. I don't think Marsel can afford an international coach right now. I believe his coach is on the federation's payroll but I'm not sure. So it's pretty much a given they would hire a Turkish coach.
I hope he makes it to top 50 this year.

He lost to WC world number 427 Rhyne Williams in Indian Wells 1st round 64 64. Unfortunate new low. I would like to know what happened.
I hope he gets his head screwed back on soon.
