James Lemke
Just qualified for the main draw of Auckland ATP with a three set win 6-2 4-6 6-3. Nice to see more aussie players playing and more importantly qualifying for ATP tournaments. Would be great to see James get a win here.
He is currently ranked 456 in the world which isn't overly impressive but with almost all his big results last year coming at the end of the year you would have to think he is a good chance to make waves in the first half of this year.
Good luck in the main draw James!

Re: James Lemke
It was nice to see him have a run of successes in the US late last year in some good quality futures tournaments and now qualifying for an ATP Tournament. Also favours the clay.

Re: James Lemke
He lost 6-1 7-5 to Albert Montanes. Not a bad effort in his first ever tour match and against the world number 31. The ATP site says he was a wild card which is frustrating because he earned his spot in the draw through qualifying.

Have you seen him play, i watched live scores of his match in the final round of qualifying, also how old is he and how tall, but he looks pretty good. I've never heard of him before some good results in US future tournaments and a win which must of been a confidence booster.

Re: James Lemke
Lost in the 2nd round of Burnie to Grega Zemlja 7-5 4-6 7-6 after being up a break in the third and having match points. Still a good start to year qualifying for Auckland and pushing Montanes in the 2nd set and also Zemlja is in good form coming off the back of a challenger final in Honolulu so still a pretty good result for James. Good luck in your next tournament.

Re: James Lemke
James back on the European clay and doing well. Knocked out in the semis of a Spanish Futures after defeating Pablo Santos in a close three set encounter. Santos was ranked inside the top 200 last year.

Re: James Lemke
Nice draw for the 15k hardcourt futures in Great Britain. Will face British Qualifiers in rounds 1 and 2. Gets alot tougher after that.

Re: James Lemke
James surprisingly lost in straight sets to a British Qualifier in round one. Opportunity missed here. Should have won this one.
