Rafael Nadal will play his 48th ATP final tomorrow so it will be nice to know which players are youngest who achieved 50 finals in career

I will try to calculate for few best Open Era players but there is very good statistic guys here so hope I will get some help

Roddick has 48 and will probably be the next to join the group. If he reaches two more finals before August he will be in front of Agassi, which I think is impressive!

Nadal is 23 years old, he cannot beat top 4 on this list. If he reaches 50 before US Open 2010 he will come 5th.

According to ATP,Borg is on 87 finals (63/24) but we agree that 50th final was Rome 1978

About Lendl,I think he played his 50th final in Milan 1983

Trouble with Connors is that even on ATP website data is not accurate so he can be in range of 158-163 finals

I got same result for McEnroe but again on ATP site we can find 110 finals in Match record profile

Hope we can get some help about this two Americans


For Pistol Pete its o.k,88 finals and San Jose as 50th

I know there's some errors about my list, but that's because ATP list changes itself. Some tournaments are counted at one list, but not at another. Then many players who played in the 70's and late 60's will have others number in other sources. I tried to make my list according to the ATP website (Titles/finals at player profile)

Yeah,ATP website needs to be our base but even there we can see different numbers.. sure,most trouble with players and tournaments from the 70es

I'm sure we can make the list until Rafa's 50th final.. maybe we can have table by that time too

Nadal just reached his 50th final in Rome. He came 6th. The table has been updated!

I was really looking up for this achievement since January.. fantastic to be on the list with 5 legends in under 24 category
