Greetings people of the old tennis republic !
Alright so 1st post here, let me introduce myself:
My name is Nicolas, but Nic will do the trick; or rainville since it will be my new e-name. I'm 23, swiss and proud to be and therefore a big fan of Federer. I've been following tennis since the 90's and more often than I should on menstennis for 3 years now.
I guess it's the right time to join.
As for tennis, beside Federer I really enjoy Nalbandian, Haas and Roddick. I do like Djokovic a bit more now, don't really know why, and I guess I'll be rooting for him when Fed's gonna leaving us.
Nadal? I really disliked him at the beginning but I learned to respect the guy even though I'll never root for him. Or maybe against Murray.
And last but not least, what about me ? I've been playing tennis for more than 10 years now but only for fun, with friend. I'm at university studying Chinese, planning on living there when I'll get my degree. I do teach ski during hollidays and week-ends and I'm a big big fan of nature, mountain and winter.
My other passion is traveling wich I did a lot; first with my parents and then with friends and I did a backpacking trip alone in south-east Asia for 8 month last year. Lifetime experience. But right now my life evolve around study, traveling to china and skiing.
So there you go, you got a pretty resume of my life...
