Back to the topic, Machado/De La Nava will play against Ferrero/Sa in Sao Paulo Challenger (final). But after this tournament, will he continue playing this season?

You don't understand the joke with the name, which is long running in this forum. It's a form of appreciation.

Re: Rui MacHado "the Scottish Number 1" Cheering Thread
Unfortunately for Rui, his performance after winning the challenger has been poor, going 1-4. With his Estoril QF points coming up, he needs to redefend all of his points to retain a spot close to the top 100. An early loss would put him in the 115-120 range. Hope he has a good result.

Re: Rui MacHado "the Scottish Number 1" Cheering Thread
ATP scoreboard for whatever reason writes his name as MacHado hence the joke about the Scottish #1
The same trick is with a Spanish player Adrian MacEiras... epic

Lost to The Fog, blew so many fucking chances! I'm afraid he will never have the mental game to play at is best in ATP level. Only in Challengers. He's already 27.

Tired of the challenger, Fognini is always a tough draw for a 1st round...

Re: Rui MacHado "the Scottish Number 1" Cheering Thread
Rui is in the biggest final of his career against Prodon in Szczecin. Took out Zeballos and Montañes in the last 2 rounds. He really is the fave for this event.
