Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party
I am sure Ben will get that qualifying wild cared for the AO. Great effort against Polansky who is a great player. I am very impressed with Ben. I think he might just have what we need to make it to the top.

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party
Great to see Ben turning in a huge performance against the top seed, Blaz Kavcic. Lost the first set in a tiebreaker after being up by a break but he didn't go away in the second set and came back and tied the match at one set a piece winning it 7-6.

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party
Went down 6-4 in the third. Still, an excellent effort from Ben and I hope he can have another strong season this year. He seems to be coming along nicely.

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party
Good performance from him on the back of taking Polansky to three sets. Will be interesting to see what he can achieve this year.

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party
Ben has showed some good score lines against Polansky and Kavcic, can't wait till the aussie challengers and futures i think Ben will bring out his A game and really beat some quality players good luck where ever you play next, does anyone know if he is playing the junior open.

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party
Good stuff by Ben against a top player, but one who is really a clay court player. Kavcic won the majority of his matches on clay last year. Will be watching more of Ben next year, who now enters the senior ranks along with Tomic.

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party
Ben is playing the qualifiers for Burnie, and won his first match fairly easily. It looks like he could make the main draw of Burnie, but the seeds could cause him a problem.

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party
Impressive once again. Looks like he was serving well. Hopefully he can beat Marcus Daniell. It is the kiwi one and not the Brazilian one.

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party
Shame Ben couldn't get a win over the ATP summer. Taking sets off Kavcic and Polansky must boost his confidence though.
Ben's Q section...
[3] Joseph SIRIANNI (AUS) vs [WC] Ben WAGLAND (AUS)
Patrick DAVIDSON (USA) vs Nima ROSHAN (AUS)
Jose (Rubin) STATHAM (NZL) vs Benjamin MITCHELL (AUS)
Marcus DANIELL (NZL) vs [6] Rameez JUNAID (AUS)
