Mitchell is coming along quite nicely this season. Especially considering if he hadn't drawn the Top Seed, he probably would've made the AO. That 35, plus the 25 from winning this futures would've taken him inside the top 400. As of next week, he'll probably be ranked around 442.
Also he was scheduled to play in Japan this week, but pulled out.

He got Rieschik first round, which means probably Soeda second round. But let's consider that he pushed Kavcic to 3 tight sets at AO qualies, and just won a futures, so I can see him winning that match too.

Well he won a futures last week, so that's 25pts + 3 for qualies. No points to defend either, and he's currently ranked 524 with 52 points.
