that actually works for me pablo. i have no desire to win this contest.

just have 2 winners already: burrow and linda. they are both about the biggest arse clowns ever at mtf. one of these 2 will win anyway. i propose that we rig the contest and have 2 winners.

Black Adam [15] vs. MrChopin [20]
aloimeh [31] vs. Clydey [4] (bigoted views simply aren't welcome here and James' swinging between laid-back moods and upbeat approach has been growing on me...)

l_mac [3] vs. nadalsharapova [29]
Fahrenhajt [13] vs.safin-rules-no.1[19]
Bilbo [10] vs. tangerine_dream [21]
MalwareDie [28] vs. P. Antonius [8] (MalwareDie has improved a lot recently, but unlike JM (s)he hasn't reached end of the road)

JolánGagó [9] vs. rocketassist[23] - no vote
Tommy_Vercetti [16] vs. mediter [46]

Burrow [1] vs. Raging Lamb [30] - no vote. neither makes an impression on me.

prima donna [14] vs. munZe konZa [47] - got a rep from PD the other day, formally asking me who I was. It was sealed with red wax and replete with faux WASP enlightenment.

GOATPARERA [12] vs. theRAFA (RAFAwon10CYGS) [22] - One exists for sure and one doesn't.

«Ivan»[39] vs. rubbERR [7] - He and PD will have a huge match.

Everko [5] vs. Byrd [27] - Alien clown sig coming soon.

sawan66278 [11] vs. Foxy [24] - fast_clay, it was AO '08 QFs against Ferrer...

And after that pathetic, immature display where Djokovic complained about a BABY crying of all things, his new name: Novak Diaperitch.

Ferrer played like garbage. Blowing a 40-0 lead in his service game, after a few fortuitous net cords for Count Cheatula, spelled doom for Run David Run. Ferrer played HORRIBLY. And I'm telling you now: had it gone to four sets, as amazing as it seems-with mental midget Mary Carillo ready to coronate the Count before the third set was complete-the Count might have suffered a tremendous defeat. But then again, you never know, perhaps he was upset because he was again snubbed by the Academy when the Oscars were announced today:

Best fraudulent injury: the nominees are: Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Jelena Jankovic, and Justin Henin

Pencil the Julio Egoglesius for a three to four set meeting with Buttzilla, a.k.a. Dr. No.

Black Adam [15] vs. MrChopin [20]

aloimeh [31] vs. Clydey [4] - Even with

l_mac [3] vs. nadalsharapova [29] - Shouldn't be close.

Fahrenhajt [13] vs.safin-rules-no.1 - Faren v. l_mac has serious promise.

Bilbo [10] vs. tangerine_dream [21] - Still don't know if you're male or female. Either would be scary.

MalwareDie [28] vs. P. Antonius [8] - His posts in the Federer forum after Wimbledon '08 are some of the finest MTF has produced.

[6] Mellow Yellow vs. habibko [26] - Sorry habibko

JolánGagó [9] vs. rocketassist[23] - It's sad when you follow select matches only to say "mug era" when the more aggressive player loses. It's more sad when you do this after every post. It's more sad when you actually believe it.

Tommy_Vercetti [16] vs. mediter [46] - Neither is clownish enough to play in R16.

Start da Game vs. Clay Death[2] - Pray for death.

haha.. i had no idea of that one.. he has quite a back catalogue...

What can I say? I feel sick after this match...not because Roddick lost (or choked the fourth set away, after Djokovic choked away the third)...but we now have: The League of Extraordinary Arrogance vs. the World Part II. I hoped to never again see what happened in Australia, and now we have something that may be even worse.

What could have been a seminal moment for Djokovic has become his probable legacy. A player who may win the battle (by any means necessary: fake injuries, bathroom breaks, and ball bouncing)...only to lose the war (RESPECT...as a champion). His game will be admired, but he will NEVER receive the respect of his peers or neutral fans. Perhaps he doesn't care. But given his infantile reaction to victory, acting like a drug-pushing thug from some D-Class Hip-Hop video, to defeating Roddick...and his me against the world attitude, its obvious that he DOES care.

And therein lies the irony. He wants to have his cake and eat it to: we wants to win, and will do anything to win...however, he wants the love of the fans too. But guess what? If you cheat...if you act like a barbarian when you win...if victory is only satisfying by humiliating others and simply a means to assert your "superiority" over others (and not for the sake of pure competition)...you will NEVER get what you desire.

His box...including the most annoying coach in the history of tennis...a man who seemingly gets paid by the number of times he leaps out of his seat to cheer + the most "endearing" parents this side of Mary Pierce's dad...only adds fuel to the fire. They act SO TOUGH...cheering and jeering at the fans who don't support their BOY...because a brat who needs his diaper constantly changed is what he is. They fail to realize: if they can dish it out, they should be thankful that the fans have not dished back. Yet. That changed tonight with the ugly ending to USA's wonderful years of coverage.

From this point forward, Djokovic will make Ivan Lendl look like Jimmy Connors. Rather than act in a manner befitting a champion (like Rafa), he acted like a dolt...who takes his ball and goes home when things go wrong (for evidence, see Monte Carlo this year when he gave up against Roger). And I'm glad Michael Barkan refused to let him paint all the fans there tonight with the brush of false accusations.

A common tactic of perpetrators of wrong is to paint the victims themselves with the color of evil. Novak accused the fans of ganging up on him because of their "believing" Andy...in reality, he knows he's a cheater and abuser of the spirit (and, at times, the letter) of the game...and was trying to deflect this guilt.

Novak. A word to the wise. This is New York. They have witnessed horrific events in their history...and band together if you attack. And they WILL respond. And you, and your League of Extraordinary Arrogance will NOT be ready for the response.

You may have won the match tonight...but in the spirit of sport (as in the Olympic games you claim to respect), you lost the most important of things: RESPECT from those who love the sport of tennis.
there is a couple more posts in that thread not long after... GOLD
