The current crop of 16-year old Americans -- Kozlov, Tiafoe, Mmoh and Fritz -- are the most exciting group of young American players we have seen in quite a while. To them, add Donaldson, Sock, Rubin, Altamirano, even Harrison and Kudla, and American tennis may have a future.

It's definitely worth keeping an eye on Mmoh. LIke Kozlov, Tiafoe and Fritz, he could become a regular top 100 player or higher.

Plays Hong in the final tomorrow. After today's match, I think his backhand is better than his forehand (seemed more penetrative when he hit it cleanly). The FH is not as explosive.

GL in the Finals Mike, I think his BH better than is FH to but I think his FH bit explosive as well (when he set it up well through)

Maybe it is too early, but I kinda don't like the way he hits his FH.

He often hits it without racket head acceleration and depth which can be a problem. He can definitely hit it bigger and heavier he just doesn't so much of the time for whatever reason. It's very consistent but yeah he needs to hit out more going forward.

Yeah, his BH has more depth than the FH. I wish he is more aggressive...Michael just b/c some people compared you to Monfils doesn't mean you have to play like him.
