Not really good news :

He won't be in Abu Dabi and Doha. He just wasn't prepared enough. He confirmed his presence at Kooyong though (and not Sydney like his official site is saying).

Oh yeah, this site's maintaining really sucks...

OH DAMNED! I am crying bitterly about his withdrawals...

No, don't worry, he really doesn't sound worried, here's the full article:
Quote:
« Nouvelles ambitions, nouvelle raquette »
JULIEN REBOULLET
They had a very tight schedule for the off-season after having almost wasted one week again with London. Then he's fallen a bit behind with his preparation when he took 4 days off for his back, but he's fine, he sounds eager to practice properly and have a real break from the tour.

I see that a lot of English articles say he's injured, but here's what Wino says in Le Parisien today, it's pretty much the same as in L'Equipe the other day, he's not ready yet and he needs one more week of training:

First win of 2010: Jo defeats Soderling 7-6, 6-1 at Kooyong. Good job!

I was in double trouble today - whoever lost, I was ready to start crying, and right now I am running in panic like frightened chicken because of Robin's very weak game but, but in another second I am breathing with some kind of relief when I think about Jo.

Then I start panic about Robin again, that's my morning: from hot to cold...

Does anyone understands anything about this Kooyong exho? Does he play tonight? Who does he play if so?

Apparently Del Portro withdrawn, but l'Equipe says he plays the final against Verdasco on Friday, and the Kooyong site says he plays against Haas? That makes no sense since Haas lost both his matches and Jo won. Maybe he wanted to play 3 matches so they made him play Haas today (friday in OZ), and then play Verdasco the next day?

this exhib begins to seriously look like the Masters France, with more forfeits and tanks than actually disputed matchs.
but it seems he just plays Verdasco on friday they also have a Cash/Leconte exhib after that.

kooyang's website is completely useless shit. they still have roger all over the site but no oop, no nothing. i understand it's an exho nthat nobody cares aboyt but this is complete slacking off on webmaster's part. there isn't a single 2010 picture. also that "draw" on the website is not very clear at all. querrey an stakhovsky are playing now? I'm not even gonna comment on the ridiculous draw tree/ball. http://www.aamiclassic.com.au/draw.php
