Default advice on raquet

Im looking at a selection

Head Radical team and Extreme team , what is the difference please ?
Prince exo3 rebel team , o3 blue and speedport o3 blue

Im 50 , used to be a keen player when young and just revisiting the sport and therefore a bit rusty. Hit and serve ball quite hard and sometimes find it difficult to keep the ball in court

I currently have a cheap head Ti evolution ? midplus which cost about Ł15 and is my son`s
Could you highlight the merits or otherwise of each if possible please

thank you

of the rackets you have mentioned the prince exo3 rebel team would be the most demanding to use, as it is the heaviest and has the smallest head size and a dense string pattern. it is suited to all court players with solid technique and timing, who play pretty regularly.

the radical team is the next down, with a very similar weight, but a slightly larger headsize. as such it is a little easier to use, but still provides a decent balance between power and control.

the other three rackets are all oversize and about the same weight, making them easier to use. the prince rackets will have a larger sweetspot because of their 03 technology, but that means they will also have a little less control. of the three my favorite is the extreme team; its a lot more flexible and evenly balance than most oversized frames, so its more confortable and has a little more control than a traditional oversize

Thanks very much Jazar for the info.

Ive looked at the Head extreme team and like the feel but it was in a shop with labels on so you cant get a real feel for how it swings. There are no specialist shops near me where you can test the racquets unfortunately , hence me asking on here.

I think i will go for the extreme and maybe think about a second hand rebel just to see if the lower power suits . Out of the speedport and ordinary 03 blue is there any real difference in them , and would they be alot different to the prince ex03 rebel team really ? thanks

there is a big difference between the prince 03 speedport blue/03 blue and the rebel team. the weight difference is about 25/30g and the headsize difference is 15 sq inches, both of which are quite a lot. the sweetspot on the rebel team will be noticeably smaller. thereis very little difference between the speedport blue and the 03 blue. the main difference is the shape of the O ports

Thank you for the further info Jazar. I will bear it in mind. I just like the paintwork on the rebel , a bit different and a bit like marmite to most I recon .If you cant try out in shops I suppose you have to buy a few different sizes and weights to see what suits , especially if they are used ones its not so expensive to experiment. Rebel or Head microgel prestige are what i might go for to try a "heavy" racquet.
