Gaston in the home of the 1st World Cup Winners Montevideo Thread
Yes, the prodigal son is returning to the tour and playing at home, sometimes this can be wonderful and other times it can be harsh.
Jaite has never forgotten what Gaston has done for tennis in Argentina and treats him like a son. Hope the leg is fine and all ready to go. He hadn't played for a long time and those long matches in Chile, lets see what happens with it.

Re: Asado, chimichurri, dulce de leche, maté, gracias Jaite and welcome back Gaston
I think he´s had very little time to practice on that leg, I only hope the interruption won´t affect the momentum he´d reached with the Copa Argentina and the two matches he won in Iquique.
About Jaite, I remember that when he accepted to coach Nalbandian he said "I never imagined I´d coach anybody other than Gastón"...

I've always liked Jaite regardless of his relationship with Gastón. Great is my joy that a deep enduring friendship has developed between them.

Daniel Gimeno-Traver is Gastón's first round opponent.

Dani hasn't been in great form and he is a very likable , but not this time, lets see what happens with the crowd, they better embrace the man.

Is that confirmed then??? I couldn´t find either Gastón or Moya´s matches mentioned in the Telmex site, and Livescore have Gastón playing early.

The ATP site is always a reliable source for order of play.
