Re: 2009 Fall tournaments
In L'Equipe today:
Quote:

|
He doesn't regret the break after the US Open to do some physical work, he's sure that it will pay off in the end. But he does think he should have played a smaller event than Beijing for his first tournament then, Söderling as a first match was a bit tough, it didn't give him time to get his rhythm again.
He confirms he'll play in Orléans next week because they helped him a lot when he was a Junior, giving him 3 WC. He had promised back then that he would return the favour one day and he wants to keep his word.

Re: 2009 Fall tournaments
Thanks Fran, Yeah it's hard to say when there was no livestream to watch the match, hopefully he can get his rhythm and do well at Paris masters

Re: 2009 Fall tournaments
Merci Truc. I was a bit right that he should have played Metz or the week after, but glad he saw that as well. He'll probably learn form that.
And maybe it isn't that bad that he is playing Orleans. He should reach at least SF there and then he got some matches and wins under his belt for the rest of the indoor season.

Re: 2009 Fall tournaments
Not at all an easy field, but Jérémy will be the crowd favourite of course.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Re: 2009 Fall tournaments
He lost hsi doubles 6-3 3-6 12-10 to the #1 seeds. AT least it was close, and now he can concentrate on wining his singles! 100 points up for grabs here, much better then playing one of the tournaments on now, making the quarters and getting only 70 points or so.

Yeah, but he has to really win it. Anything less than that won't contribute to his points total. But you can do it Jeremy, allez!

Re: 2009 Fall tournaments
He is playing his singles now, its 1-1 but Jeremy hit 4 straight aces in his service game.
