Re: The Asian Swing 2009
Glad you had a nice surprise when you got back DanaKz ^^
Jo is up 3rd on grandstand tomorrow vs Zeng. I'd presume he'll roll through it and then we'll have the important match vs Soderling

Re: The Asian Swing 2009
Jo is live atm His opponent is 393 in the world, his best rankings at 28. And Verdasco was outed by Ljubicic in the first round, all the best for London

Re: The Asian Swing 2009
Decent match. Looked a bit sluggish. Way too many errors than usual, but opponent was no bunny. He's got to trust that backhand a little more and not run around every single one of them. The backhand slice needs some work too.
1st set
Match
Jo and Julien trounced Nestor/Zimonjic 6-3 6-4. They also had breakpoints to break for the match.

Re: The Asian Swing 2009
I'm actually more impressed by the doubles win now!

Re: The Asian Swing 2009
Good win for Jo. EVery round counts in his quest for the London finals. Verdasco has given him a slight breather for now, but Soderling and Gonzalez are very much alive. I'm surprised though, why he's wasting energy playing doubles - given that he's admitted to being fatigued last week.

Re: The Asian Swing 2009
Not good .__.
That was a shocking linecall in the first set, the umpire didn't have many options after Jo didn't hear the score sadly D:
I just hope Jo gets his head back together and can get back into this match

Re: The Asian Swing 2009
I wonder how you can miss such a ball. The linejudge is right in front of the line, the ball is coming in a straight line and hits bang on the line, half of the ball was on the line according to the hawk-eye...
