What is your favourite surface to PLAY on?
Mine probably has to be HARDcourts, easy to play on and balance is pretty solid.

Clay, easier on the body. Also point construction is pretty important.

Re: What is your favourite surface to PLAY on?
I always thought I would like clay more, but I don't hit with a ton of topspin and the ball bounces so differently for me that I was quite bad on it. I'm good on slow hard courts though

I finally tampered with my sig and found a better font so that the 'r' and 'l' in Soderling doesn't have a gap between!

Re: What is your favourite surface to PLAY on?
Have been playing mostly on clay but the times I played on HC seemed much cleaner to me, cleaner in my head and in the strokes.

Ever since I moved to the North America, primarily hard court.

What do you know, a thread on MTF about actually playing tennis and it only has 5 responses. Shocking.
Hardcourts by the way. I'm American, you know how we do.

Re: What is your favourite surface to PLAY on?
Grass is by far the most elegant surface, but I can't play on them very much because I live in the United States.
Yarn/Carpet at Montreal seemed pretty neat. Also indoor wooden courts are great.

Re: What is your favourite surface to PLAY on?
I've only been able to play on hard and Har-Tru. If I'm playing a serious match hard is what I play best on, but since it's rare (I'm not a country club member) playing on the green stuff is a fun, unique experience.

Re: What is your favourite surface to PLAY on?
I've never played on grass, just hard and clay. I find the hardcourts better suited for my game, since I'm an aggressive player who likes to charge to the net. As much as I'd love to play on grass, there's nowhere to do this around here.

Re: What is your favourite surface to PLAY on?
I live in california, and pretty much all we have there are hard courts. I have played on a clay court once when I visited Korea, but didn't like it. Just felt like I was playing on dirt. Come to think of it, it might have just been dirt - I can't compare it to any other clay courts since that was the only one I played on.

Re: What is your favourite surface to PLAY on?
Definitely clay because I love sliding. I don't like hard courts too much because I play on them a lot and they are very tough on my knees. Too bad there aren't much clay courts here in the US.
